COAL RUSH

OVERVIEW
Coal Rush is a fast paced 2-player game. You could say that it is speedrunners but with trains. In this game the players are two train conductors ambushed by bandits while trying to reach your destination. You have to deliver the goods and there can only be one survivor.

The production of this game was part of the Arcade course at Uppsala University. It was our first game project and we worked on it for 7 weeks in a team of 7.
​
At GGC the game was nominated for Best Presentation and Best Arcade Experience and won the later one. Beside that Coal Rush was one of the games showcased at GDC- alt.ctrl 2018.
